I have always loved books and cannot remember a time when I could not read. For me reading, and having books in my life, is a necessity, not a luxury. I live in a lovely college town called Ashland, in Oregon. I share my home with my husband, three dachshunds, and two cats. We live on a farm where we raise grapes for winemaking, so there is always outdoor work to be done. In addition to reading, collecting books, reorganizing books, and reading about books, I love to hike, knit, cook, play music, and travel.
