Interviews with the National Book Award Finalists

On November 18th, judges will be choosing the winner of the Young People's Literature National Book Award for 2009. Here are the finalists for the award and interviews with the authors. This information was provided by the National Book Foundation.

I had not seen this interviews. These are great! I thought I might add another voice to the Phil Hoose interview as I have just created a YouTube with audio from several interviews with Claudette Colvin:

The book gathers so much of her first person that I thought it might be great for readers to hear her voice.
